We live inside contradictions.
We build systems to make life easier, then let them make life harder. We produce more than we need while millions live without enough. We speak about progress while wars continue. We search for ways to heal ourselves while constantly inventing new ways to destroy ourselves.
We don't think clothes can fix them. We don't think another image, T-shirt or object will save the world. Making more things in a world already overflowing with things is itself a contradiction.
It is a place for images that came from watching the world what surrounds us: inequality, war and displacement, technology and loneliness, history, folklore, anxiety, fear, beauty, absurdity, memory, violence, tenderness and hope.
We print them on clothes because clothes are ordinary, physical and close to the body. They age, fade, tear, travel.
Mockups show print placement; the finished garment may vary from the digital preview.
All tie-dyes are handmade at our studio in Tel Aviv. Each dye is unique, so colours may vary.
